Q: My child is not a student at Aldrin Elementary School, how can I register for sports camp?
A: You can download the sports camp registration and FCPS Emergency care information forms by clicking on the forms link on the left side of this page.

Q: What activities will my child participate during camp?
A: Your child will have a unique camp experience, having an opportunity to vote for their favorite sport as will the other campers. The highest number of votes for sports will be added to the camp schedule.
Q: What special activities will occur during the week of sports camp?
A: Each session we will have pizza day. Cost for Pizza day is built into the camp price, there is no additional cost. Water day occurs one day where campers can bring super soakers, bathing suit and towels. We will have 2 slip n' slides, pools, hoses and other water games during Water day.
Q: Do campers play outside all day?
A: We play outside as much as we can but we take frequent breaks to cool down inside the Aldrin E.S. gym and Gatorade is provided, so all campers stay well hydrated.
Q: What precautions do you employ when the weather is hot?
A: All campers are asked to bring a water bottle and towel to camp. We have a cooler filled with Gatorade and water sprinklers are at our convenience. Indoor activities are also planned.
Q: What should my child bring to camp?
A: Visors (available for purchase at $8) or hats, a water bottle, towel, and a snack. If your child is participating all day, they should bring a lunch with snacks.
